I hired this so-called lawyer to appear in court with me and take my case. He wanted a $3500 retainer fee, so I gave him $3000 upfront. He came into court, almost late, sat down, objected to 2 statements, and that was the only time he spoke up. After court, he tells me I need to just comply with what the other party is requesting of me, like I had no other options, when I knew there were other options. He just seemed like he didn't want to put in the effort to even try anything for me. He has been retained as my lawyer for only 2 days at this time, and literally got paid $3000 to walk into court to tell me the same thing the opposing party told me. This is not a lawyer you want to take to court with you, because he isn't working for you, if he is agreeing with the opposing party right away. So, I decided to have him remove himself from my case and to return any unused monies to me. (Mind you, he only "worked" my case for 2 days). He told me there was no money to return, because I had paid him to do what he did. HE DID NOTHING. I advise anyone looking for a lawyer to definitely not hire this one. When hiring a lawyer you need one that is going to be on your side and work for YOU. If you do hire him, I definitely wouldn't pay him much upfront, because that's what he wants, you're money. He won't have your best interest at heart.

He is rude and very aggressive. He slammed his office door in my face when I finally decided to show up to his place of business because he never returned my calls. He never filed paperwork with his clients P.O. and in return his client is locked up on a technical violation. I will be reporting him to the Ada office and the appointed judge tomorrow.

There was a complicated issue were my grandma has dementia and my mother was trying to get power of attorney because my grandmas husband who took care of her passed away and the lady she spoke to was very rude and hung up on her. 🙁

I would give this office a ZERO if I could!!
My ex and I went into an UNCONTESTED adoption and this was starting in Aug 18’ and it finally went to court middle of Dec 18’. The incompetence, unresponsive, lack of follow through and disrespectful asstistant and lawyer are the issues. I received attitude that was unjustified when I called for my updates when they said they would call. Due to my ex paying for said adoption they used profanity at me and said we will speak to our client, do not call us anymore! That was ridiculously unprofessional! I have been nothing but truly helpful and the only time I got true updates was when I went in person! I gave 99.9%of all documents required. Any update you ask for or they offer will not happen.

My child was born out of state and we are trying to get them to send the necessary papers out to get a new birth certificate issued and I’ve gotten the biggest run around! They even told me to do it myself when they were paid to do this service! I respectfully stated that they had from August to get this sorted and asked why it was taking so long and that’s where the assistant “Toni” used profanity then assumed to go onto a rant and hung up on me because I asked a simple question..if that shouldn’t throw a flag idk what would. They point blame and don’t take responsibility for their shortcomings and bill for service that shouldn’t have to happen! DHR lost the papers...”oh I’m not sure when I can get to it” ...they are a joke! When the court hearing happened they didn’t even have all the papers necessary even though we showed up prepared! And getting our copies of said papers took even longer! “Oh he hasn’t checked the box”
Their office is legit across the street from the court house! Please I urge anyone who might stumble upon this DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY with this poor excuse of a legal office! I’ll be happy to answer any and all questions y’all have 🙂 please make good choices when selecting a good lawyer!
