I worked with Allyson and Georgia who worked on dad’s case. My dad doesn’t speak English. Allyson and Georgia made this 2 year process very smooth. Allyson and Georgia were so patient and nice as I translated everything back and forth between my dad and these two ladies. This made the process seem very fast. UPDATE:
I was disappointed that TR told us they could not take our case, as we have a LOT of evidence against our landlord regarding harassment (and have been supported by the LA Housing Department). However, after reading of my disappointment, a TR representative reached out and explained that the reason they could not represent us was not that they only deal with corporate landlords (as I feared) but that, because they are a small firm and focus on representing tenants who are being evicted, they truly did not have the capacity to help us. They kindly offered to give us a 30-minute consultation, during which we got invaluable information from one of their associates, Tina. She was very helpful with points of law and also provided us with a referral to an attorney who specializes in helping tenants with cases like ours. Thanks to her input I have edited this review to reflect this.

I am writing this review for tenants. They did not accept my case after weeks of talking,emailing and zoom. However I found out they are representing 3 other tenants from a different building exact landlord and they filed suit around the exact same time. Disappointment is an understatement! I spent a considerable amount of time sharing personal details of my experience.You would think my case would help their case! I'm baffled. So if you consult with them be sure not to waste too much of your time waiting to have your case acceped or rejected. I feel like I wasted my time and they 'used' me to build their other case. Consult with a few lawyer and dont waste too much time waiting for a decision. I just hope race isn't the reason I am African American....
