Mr. Cox exceeded all expectations for my husband’s case. What should have been all felony charges with almost $9,000 in fines ended up being reduced to all misdemeanor charges and $1,500 in fines. Their website says to give them a call and get free legal advice. I called and the lady i spoke to literally said to me, "I can't give you legal advice," and was extremely unhelpful in my trying to advance my criminal case or allowing me a time or date to speak to someone else at the firm. This is a law firm and this makes it seem like they are acting in false advertisement. I am extremely disappointed.
Edit. It wont allow me to respond to the response so i will just add it here. You are incorrect. When she told me about the $750 retainer fee i replied that it says on the site that you give free legal advice. I didnt hang up. We had pretty much the whole conversation after that. I asked her if there was another time or date that i could speak with you and she said NO and suggested i seek other counsel. THEN i said this is crazy, you're a lawfirm practicing false advertisement and hung up. She offered no help whatsoever and turned away a potential client so if thats what you want your employees to do then sure 5 star. I asked for another time or date and she offered nothing including a free appointment. Thats the main issue. You dont do the free appointments like you advertise on your website according to your secretary.
