Having two charges filed against me for a physical altercation in an argument, I had no idea what to do and how this would impact my future. Eric Pentell was the first lawyer I called and I hired him on the spot without a second or third opinion from other lawyers. He charges a consultation fee, but he runs down every possible scenario, A through Z, and will fight for the best possible outcome. Even if you don't use him, you have a ton of answers and options that he discusses with you, so bring a pen and paper. Needless to say I had a great experience and had a very favorable outcome with Eric Pentell. Highly recommend.

I was quoted a firm price of $5,000 to retain this attorney and was worried sick about if I should pay it or not I was facing a dv charge of battery on a spouse or cohabitant even though this was my first case with these charges Eric assured me that it would be wise to use his expertise after much anxiety I decided to go back into court and explain to the judge that I was not able to afford the amount of money that was asked I was appointed a public defender Fitzgerald,Alvarez & ciummo there is a public defender her name I can't remember but she is always assisting people in department 22 with these types of cases and after retaining the public defender I was able to have my case resolved with an 18 month 52 week battery prevention course online with the successful completion of the course takeing the charge completey off my record sure was a lot nicer than having to give up a ridiculous amount of money for the same out come in the end I'm glad I didn't get swindled by an attorney that won't break an inch on the retainer amount and making me fill so helpless as to what to do I would advise anybody that reads this to first seek public defender and see if they can't help My case may have been a little different My spouse and I are still currently together and she also had submitted a document to the DA's office to have charges dropped prior to my court appearance Eric had told me that this would have little to no effect that people could file 20 of these and they still would have no effect it's up to the DA I feel it did have some kind of recourse as to helping me get the battery prevention program with no probation 52 weeks 18 months for a full completion and dismissal I hope this post helps people I know it's tough when you don't have much and your life is on the line Best of luck in Godspeed I hope your case is to resolved without pushing you into a financial burden

I just want to say how amazing Eric was with my Sons case he promptly got on the ball with getting everything in order considering my son was wrongly accused of things he was charged with Eric did a great job at defense an getting my sons charges dropped completely.. 👏🏽 he never left us waiting for answers an always got back to us on time..

I couldn't be more pleased with Mr. Pentell's services. He was immediately proactive and worked diligently for the right outcome. My charges were dismissed at the first hearing. Additionally, he was very personable, always took the time to explain the process and didn't rush through the details. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Eric has been so helpful to my husband and I during some very stressful and scary times. He is communicative and thorough with his explanation of the legal process and what we should expect. Although he is obviously so much more than this, I always say he is our emotional support attorney because he takes the time to listen to our fears and concerns and offer encouragement (but also truth). He feels like a friend, not just our legal counsel.
It is with extreme satisfaction and fervor that I recommend him!
