This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company that offers services. I Retained them over 1 1/2 years ago and twice I showed up to court with no paperwork being completed. My case got thrown out yesterday for "wasting the courts time" I had to return WE The People in Pasadena about 15 times.
I am ill and needed my alimony desperately before brain surgery. Every time I went to the office in Pasadena I was given court papers to fill out and as I would struggle Fafe would walk away or shrug her shoulders. After I received the printed paperwork it wasn't in Law vocabulary (which could have been done with Chat GPT) but instead in my words not legal jargon. There was very important paperwork that needed to be filed as part of the packet but they would blame me as if it was my fault. After calling Corporate in the 951 area code Jennifer wouldn't give me my money back and told me As a courtesy NO APOLOGY they would wave the fee to refile. This is going on 2 years. I needed to be in a peaceful state before going through these surgeries. I have not been paid since 2018 so you could understand my need during these hard times. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You stole my money and precious time.
Michelle that works in the office is wonderful but I can't recommend this place for important matters. An apology goes a long way. Don't be surprised if there is a reply blaming me.

Worked with Afaf to get an out-of-state divorce with the wife in Montana. The process was long, with some unexpected delays. This necessitated several visits to the office. Through it all, Afaf kept me informed as to the delays, and what was needed to keep the process moving. At long last, the divorce was finalized. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service provided by this office.

Don’t go to this place! Process is ridiculous! Lady makes you go back 8 times. Very in efficient. They get your money upfront so there is no urgency to get your paperwork done. Bad customer service. Go to another location if you need to use We the people.

UPDATE #2: They just sent me a cease and desist letter. They are literally threatening to sue me for writing this google review.

Where do I start. I came here with my mom to pick up divorce papers and right off the bat the employees were cold, unwelcoming, and non communicative. In particular, the woman who served us the papers gave us no information and told us to leave immediately. My mom and I, confused by the paperwork (as anyone would be in this situation), called back to see if they could answer some of our questions and make an appointment to file our response. The same woman spoke to me on the phone, and refused to serve us and answer any of my questions. She proceeded to direct me to a location 27 MILES AWAY and insisted that this was the only one I could go to. When there are at least 3 other closer locations that I found on google (one of which I called and made us an appointment no problem). After a week of confusion, research, and calling around I found out that the response paperwork is not needed if we are not contesting. The amount of worry and time spent on trying to understand our next steps was completely unnecessary and avoidable if this lady would have just done her job. If she would have told me this one sentence, "If you are not contesting the paperwork, then you don't need to file a response", then ALL OF THIS COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED. I don't understand why we were treated this way for no reason, this woman wasted my time and caused me worry.

Update: Even after talking to a very nice man at HR yesterday, it seems like this company is going to attack my person and spread lies about my experience. This is appalling. I never came in emotionally charged nor did I ever ask for legal advice. On top of that, they decided to threaten me with legal action for posting a review about my experience. I just hope my review helps others from making the same mistake of using this legal service.
