I first met Tamara in 2015, when I was 18 years old and facing the possibility of 10 years in federal prison. At that point, I had just made one of the biggest mistakes of my life, and I was terrified and uncertain about what would happen next. Tamara was assigned as my public defender, and from the moment we spoke, she reassured me that she would do everything in her power to help me navigate the situation.

Now, nearly a decade later, I’m writing this review because I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. That day has come. In November 2024, I successfully completed my probation term. Since my arrest in 2015, I've turned my life around in ways I never imagined. In addition to this, I've gained several other certifications in my field, volunteered in various community programs, and regularly speak to young adults about the dangers of drugs and bad influences. I've also gotten engaged to my partner of six years—a person I might never have met had I not gone through this journey.
