Recently drove through and reminisce on the days that our family was started out here in SE Arizona. We love the solitude here and, naturally, the beautiful desert 🏜

First and foremost, our visit was to be of a joyful and positive nature, rather it was anything but. It’s disheartening and disappointing to have been dealt with the way we did, by Tina. It should have never happened but it did. I do not recommend her. I don’t know what role Tina plays, but she clearly doesn't put a level of importance on CARE in dealing with taxpayers. System seems antiquated.

It was a Friday, leading into a 3 day weekend. We were in a good mood. We planned on going there based on a personal & positive referral: (that workers there are happily willing to assist with the topics we were there for). But Tina, the woman who took to assisting us, hesitatingly did so, & made it seem like an interrogation at court right off the bat. Zero friendly vibes, annoyed face, and instead she gave us the “eye” up and down over and over again as if we were there to bother her as we proceeded into the exchange. She knew why we were there... yet she clearly had her wall up. Why? She didn’t provide any assistance in a helpful manner given with integrity, as one should, given her position. She was irritated, joyless, and quite frankly annoyed. She did not ask the right questions back to us in relation to our topic, not positively forthcoming in offering information, and was really, really rude. Shocking really. I can’t remember the last time, being treated extremely rudely by someone who's supposed to offer at the very least “decent customer service”. She should probably consider another career, one not having to deal with serving others. As a taxpayer, no one should ever experience what we experienced. We will be going into another office to continue our need for assistance that she did not fulfill.

Drove all the way downtown and paid for parking because website said they were open. Got up to the office only to find it was closed to the public. All we wanted was a national parks pass. Called the number on the door and guy who answered was zero help. Was not willing to make an appointment, come out to help us in issuing the pass and couldn't tell us what if any other federal agencies were open to issue the pass. Unacceptable. I understand we are in a pandemic but other government agencies are open and able to conduct business via an appointment system. At the very least they need to update their online information.

Worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. Everybody acts like wasting their time merely calling in and nobody wants to do their job.

I'm an offroad Jeeper and need maps, good maps with lots of little roads.
I get them here, along with the privilege of talking with a group of nice, helpful folks.
Once you get beyond the veneer of the tough Marine at the front desk, there's a really nice guy sitting there.
I have visited twice recently and walked away with a smile and the maps I wanted. What else could I ask for?
Oh, and parking is free in the 1st St Garage. My Jarhead friend has offered to Validate my parking ticket on both trips. Pity I didn't park there either time! Street meters are $1.50 for an hour.
