Ten years ago I worked with John Laughton to create a Living Trust and a Pet Trust for my animals. I worked with him again recently for some changes needed in the Trust. Through all of this, I found him to have a remarkable combination of brilliant professional competence along with a very open, down-to-earth demeanor in how he explained things to me in lay person terms. He is also just an incredibly kind person. In my experience this is a highly unusual juxtaposition of traits for an attorney. I not only deeply trust his work, but found it a great pleasure to work with him.

To achieve our goals, my wife and I, secured the services of John D. Laughton, who is an attorney with over 40 years of experience that specializes in estate planning and elder law. We felt at ease the moment Mr. Laughton walked into the room. He has a kind, gentle demeanor and patiently responded to all our questions with great detail. Not only did Mr. Laughton provide clear explanations to our questions but also helped familiarize us with other options that could protect our interests. After initial visits and followup discussions, my wife and I, had a living trust providing us complete peace of mind. Additionally, the process to notarize was made simple with the help of Holly, the Services Manager, who provided notary services right in the office. The Director of First Impressions, Alice, was an absolute pleasure and the first person you meet when arriving. John and the entire staff are extremely down to earth, professional and friendly. We were even introduced to Hank, the team’s loving office dog. Bottom line, it was an outstanding experience (not an adjective commonly used to describe legal visits) and more importantly, my wife and I walked away with comfort knowing our family’s future was safe.

Excellent experience start to finish. Financial/ Life planning is never an easy thing when you are relatively young and healthy but an important part of ensuring your children and relatives know your wishes and can avoid a lot of hassle.

Fantastic, thoughtful, and fast service. I came to this office with so many questions about a complicated family estate that had to be created quickly.They answered all my questions, took me step by step through the process, and got my estate plan and other legal documents created incredibly quickly. When I later had questions regarding the estate plan, I was able to pick up my phone and call John directly to have him answer my questions.
