I cannot say enough great things about Mike! He is knowledgeable, understanding, thorough, caring, and will fight for you. Mike’s willingness to not only listen, but care about you and your case during the most stressful times speaks volumes. I have never felt rushed speaking to him. Wish I could give even less. This man does not give a single care about his court appointed cases. He didn’t even care enough to show in person stating that he could “do other things” while his client was waiting. He didn’t bother to set up a way to communicate with his client in the court room and made a sorry excuse about how “complicated it is to set it up because he has to use a certain software” like my guy it’s called being prepared to do your job. He provided the worst “cross examination” I’ve ever witnessed. He struggled to find the word adversarial whilst chuckling during “cross examination” and had little to no questions for the defendant while he lied several times under oath. Lastly, he assured his client they wouldn’t have to testify and then strong armed her into spilling details of an open investigation which now compromises the immediate safety of a minor. I’m disgusted and horrified that man is allowed to practice law. Absolutely shameful.

Mike DeWitt was a solid, fully present attorney who assisted in a difficult multi- year custody and divorce dispute with legal and professional integrity. He presented all my legal options, provided excellent technical assistance as needed and was always efficient with his time. His team was always professional, available, kind and understanding. The legal summaries that were required at different periods during these proceedings were written in accurate and succinct detail. The review, finalization and submission of documents to the courts was done electronically and with technological ease. Mr. DeWitt and his team worked in a timely fashion, responding to my needs and concerns promptly and his quality work was even recognized and commented on in court by the judge.

Mike Dewitt took almost a year to help me achieve a signed parenting plan through the courts, then after taking about 10,000 dollars he quite before we could go to court because I told him he needs to be more aggressive and less passive when it came to fighting for his clients. I guess he didn’t like that so he couldn’t even call and tell me he quit he did it over email then charged me for it. do not waste your money on this lawyer.

I had hired him for preparing documents related to marriage matters. Mr. Michael Dewitt was extremely rude, unavailable, and conversed in a condescending tone. Samantha is the person who answers calls and she was mirroring his unprofessional behavior too. I tried several times to reach the attorney but Samantha would not allow me to talk to the lawyer. It seems any minute you spend talking to them they want to bill you for it but does not have the decency to provide equivalent services that are promised on his website. I am extremely dissatisfied and regret heavily for hiring his firm.
