I do not recommend Cha and Alexander firm. Edward Alexander worked on an estate case for us and while he did finally succeed at the case the fees went WAY over what we told them we could budget and over what we were originally given as an estimate. I spoke with Amrit his legal assistant and told her directly that we had no further funds to spend. I was told not to worry and she would let Edward know. She did not. My husband and I both expressed that it was out of budget directly to Edward and we were told we were close to finishing the case. That was untrue. It dragged on several more months due to the other party and the bill just went higher.

My BIL agreed to pay all the atty’s fees for the case on two separate occasions and we shared those texts with Edward. Edward instead gave them a final figure months before the case was settled and instead is billing us for the remainder. He should have written the fee agreement so they knew they paid final figures upon closing the case not months beforehand. His mistake is costing us thousands as is his assistant’s mistake. Or maybe it’s not a mistake..

I urge his clients to only communicate via email with Edward or Amrit or you too will be on the hook with little recourse and a huge bill.

I can't share all the details, but it involved several complicated legal steps related to business law, trusts, and accounting matters.
