I went through a divorce and had no previous experience working with an attorney or law firm prior. My experience with Megan Bent and her paralegal Elaine was absolutely horrible! They took a situation in my life that was already extremely difficult and made it 10x worse. Elaine was so condescending and unempathetic when she would talk to me on the phone, simply because I didn’t understand all of the laws with custody and other things related to my parenting plan. She was a total bully! It got to the point I couldn’t talk to her on the phone anymore and had to speak with Megan only, which cost me a lot more money. They dragged their feet from day 1 and could care less about my needs as a client.

Once things got closer to mediation and Megan was having to communicate more with my ex’s lawyer, things went from bad to worse. Megan had no backbone to stand up for me and fight for me. She was the most passive lawyer and basically did whatever the other attorney demanded. At mediation it became even more obvious to me how inexperienced Megan was with divorces. Our mediator was very rehearsed on the law and my rights and wanted my voice to be heard. That was the first time through the whole process that I actually felt heard by an attorney. After mediation was done, Megan had me read through everything we agreed on before submitting it to the judge. It all looked correct to me. Come to find out, my ex’s attorney added a slight change to the wording on one of the agreements about our home sale and I didn’t notice. He changed the wording “shall pay” to “may pay.” Come to find out that the ONE thing I fought hard for in mediation and WON was suddenly taken from me because Megan didn’t bother to notice that. I am not an attorney and am not rehearsed on all of the language. I emailed her to tell her this and express my confusion and frustration and she responded that she would be withdrawing as my attorney!!! So in the middle of all of this stress and me being faced with the reality that suddenly I might not be able to afford a home for my daughters and I to live in, Megan abandons me and gives notice of withdrawal. Only cowards do that! She knew she totally screwed up and lied to me and took the easy way out and left me high and dry. Please do not fall for the lies and and fake promises with this law firm. Once you sign the contract you are stuck with them!

Tony and his team was my 3rd lawyer attempt with my court case and happy to have them support to the end. Tony and team were able to make sure the case stayed true to the intent and not allow the case to change couse down any rabbit trails. I know court and be ugly, and mine was, but to have a good captian and navigator that can properly steer the ship to the destination is what you need for these cases and Tony will deliver on that. There was no fluff, guess work, or unattainable goals offered or given. Facts are what this team offers and only that. When questions were asked on the "if" or "what abouts" that happen when you have never been down this road before, Tony gave clear logic and understandable options with out bias opinion so clear decisions could be made. With previous bad experiences with attorneys, I am thankful that there are a few that are still here making sure the truth, like it or not, comes to light. My experience from my first phone call, to emails, to paying my bill, was all solid experience that was not cold but understanding and direct. Thank you Tony and team.

I did not do business with them. They want a "deposit" of $5000-$7500 held in trust and then you ALSO pay your monthly bill at an hourly rate of $425. At the end you get your "deposit" back.

Works if you're in the right tax bracket, I guess.
