The entire staff is friendly and quick to help you with any questions. Adam helped me today and was incredibly helpful and kind. It was my first time sending a package there, and I will never go back to the post office.

It is really nice to walk into a business and be greeted with eye contact, a smile, and a pleasant greeting. And then be treated like they want you to come back. I will go out of my way to use The Mail Room.

I had to send out a big awkward vase to my brother and they worked with me for 15-20 minutes just to figure out the cheapest shipping option! They got the price down from $240 to $121, and earned a loyal customer. If you want a specialized, local business shipping experience definitely come here!

The folks here are so friendly & helpful. They never rush you or make you feel dumb for not knowing something. Ever since I found this spot I have never shipped with anyone else! They offer so many services and have the cutest stuff in store, why would I even want to go anywhere else!?

The crew at the Mail Room are so great! Since moving away from my family, it has become a trend for me to mail them goody boxes for birthdays and holidays, of consumables they can’t get where they are. Time after time, Adam has helped me with the packaging. I could always order stuff online, but sending a box of hand selected items is much more fun, and I am so grateful to the folks at the Mail Room for their help! Not to mention, they have really fun gifts so I have, on occasion, added another item from their store last minute. I trust them and their attention to detail and highly recommend them.

I get that people like the vibes here, but enough to be charged nearly 3x shipping rates? They’ve either really cracked the code with the locals, or I put a target on my back as a soon-to-be-former one.

I went in recently with some UPS boxes for a cross-country move. I mentioned wanting to media mail some things as well and was told they wouldn't charge packing fees for “just putting some books into a box” (important for later). At the time he quoted me $1000 for my five UPS boxes (around 250lbs total). It sounded obscene to me; I also had 8 more boxes to go. I may have been desperate to get things done but I wasn’t THAT desperate. I told him it was too high and I couldn’t do it, and I’d have to figure things out. So I shoved the boxes back into my car and went home.

Within a few hours I had figured things out to the tune of <$1000 for all 13 boxes. I just needed to go back and drop them off with the prepaid labels. As I did, the one thing I needed a paid service for still was the media mail. I handed him my stuff and he disappeared into the back. A little while later, he came back with a total: $85.98. The charges were: $69.97 for the weight (40 lbs) $6 for “pro pack” $1.50 for “kraft paper” $7.59 for the box + tax At the time I didn’t know much about media mail and thought the pricing was essentially standardized as a government service. It wasn’t until later that I found out I could have shipped that via USPS for … $27.76. So even excluding the box, he found a way to charge nearly 3x the normal shipping price when factoring in the miscellaneous charges he led me to believe wouldn’t be charged. I’m not sure how a business charging such an exorbitant markup could stay in business – which raises a curious feeling like this was a shakedown for clocking their sky-high UPS shipping earlier and telling them I was moving away. Either way, it killed the vibes.

I was gleefully helped by Brandon and I believe an Adam with the daunting and miserable task of making copies for an estate probate. In the amount of time I was at The Mail Room, I witnessed and experienced customer service that seldom exists these days - above and beyond. I was helping my mom who lives locally - I live in the sticks of Bonney Lake and wish we had these guys in my community.

Definitely stop by if you need anything shipped, mailed, scanned, faxed, notarized… the list goes on. Cute and unique gifts in the shop too!
