A genuinely horrible experience. Lucy was great, but the mediators were awful. They bullied, manipulated and talked down to me. They expected absolutely nothing of the other side, which coincidentally, is the side they had a pre-existing relationship with. Shameful and disgusting. Considering litigation.

First time I have used Dispute Resolution in Yakima. Pat was my mediator and she was great and compassionate. Kept both sides on topic. Prior to mediation the communication between the office and myself was horrible. Not everyone at DRC had the same answer and I highly recommend taking in any protection orders against the opposing party ahead of time. I ran to the courthouse twice looking to get a required "waiver" signed by a judge, then found out later that there was no such form. DRC required it, but then couldn't inform me where or what this waiver was. Have your protection order reviewed by their office and have them state in writing that nothing else is required for the appointment. Emailed the executive director while this issue was happening and had no response whatsoever. People using DRC services are already at a high stress level and to have a professional office act in such a matter left me disheartened with their services.

This place is Pathetic. Keep your money or go somewhere else. They keep coming up with new fee's for both Ex and I. This place is probably on it's last leg and trying to bill anything it can. I dealt with this place for 2 months, the Ex and I paid and paid and never even sat down with a mediator at their office. Deal with the court facilitator because this place will just create more problems with your divorce. Just Pathetic. It's been over a month since dealing with these people and I still have yet to get any form of confirmation from them that my wife bailed on the process as they state they will. This place is a mess, they get your money then put you on the back burner.
