Brooke Barden and Kim Michael’s were outstanding to work with on the sale of my house! My first buyer lost his financing and I had a difficult time with the real estate agents involved. Brooke kept me informed and was the only person fighting for me.
My second buyer had no issues and neither did I in that transaction.

I worked with JR Smith for wills, power of attorney and medical directives for my husband and myself. We had initially started the process with another lawyer, but it was taking weeks for that lawyer to get back with us. JR Smith was recommended to us, and even though it was a drive for us, they were very responsive and helpful so we ended up using them for this, and we're glad we did! They were very knowledgeable and took the time to sit with us and explain everything so we understood what we were setting up, what a trust even is, and they helped guide us to make the best decisions for our family. Would highly recommend!

I am glad we found JR Smith through the Virginia Lawyer Referral Service. I was having a hard time finding a lawyer who could help me with a real estate/estate issue and when one of the lawyers suggested the service I gave it a try. JR Smith was very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. He was able to resolve the matter pretty quickly too-I would definitely recommend!

I have worked with J R Smith on several occasions for home closings, buy-out of share of estate from family member, and wills for our family and for my mother. In all occasions it was very professional, everything was explained fully, and I was comfortable to ask any question if I did not understand all of the legal proceedings. Add to this the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend!
