I had a very minor case in traffic court where I hired Miss Lawrence for representation. I only spoke with her once prior to the court date, so communication was minimal, to say the least. We never met in person prior to the day of court, and she was not present outside of the courtroom to meet with me prior to the court hearing. During the proceedings, she did not speak on my behalf at all, and I ended up paying a higher ticket than if I had prepaid the fine. As we exited, I attempted to ask her if she understood why my fine was higher, and she explained that it was because it included court cost. She immediately left the premises after providing that response. Still minimal communication. I then thoroughly reviewed the paperwork myself to find that not only were court costs included, but the fine itself was more than three times higher. I attempted to call her office to make her aware of her potential oversight when I was informed that I would have to make an appointment to speak with her in four days. An appointment where I would have to call her, she would not be reaching out to me. I made the appointment and asked for an email confirmation or some form of documentation to account for the appointment and was told that that would not be provided. Approximately 45 minutes later, I received a call back from the receptionist to inform me that if I want to speak with Miss Lawrence for clarification on my case I will have to pay over $200 for a consultation. She stated this was because the case was already closed and that she would not be willing to speak to me without being paid again. Take note that she will do a very good job at replying to this comment and take the time to "justify" her actions. I only wish the same amount of care had been given to me as a client.

One of the most professional and competent firms I've ever worked with, the office staff is efficient and extremely helpful. The Attorney is the absolute best, goes out of the way explaining terms and discussing the "game plan" with her clients. It's an environment that people don't normally venture into, but this firm makes the process simple.

If your looking for the best then you have come to the right office. Just speaking from my interactions with Ms. Lawrence and her office has been a great one. To have a lawyer actually be in your corner and fight for you is rare. I have dealt with a few lawyers in this area and none have come close to producing results the way this office did. I truly appreciate all the help and definitely look forward to doing business again.

Let me start by saying in the last 3 years we have retained 4 lawyers to help us fight for full custody. Ms. Lawrence was our 4th lawyer and we are so incredibly thankful we were referred to her!

Our first lawyer was terrible, not presenting our case in the way he should have (not having evidence, not prepared, no witnesses subpoenaed) which resulted in a less than desirable outcome. Our 2nd lawyer had to refer us out due to a conflict of interest and our 3rd lawyer had similar issues, leading us to be referred to Ms. Lawrence.

The convenience of the portal used at Lawrence Law is very helpful. It allows all documents to be submitted in one location and messages to be sent to Ms. Lawrence and her staff all at once so the first available person will see it and be able to act/respond quicker. Samm and Marsha were very helpful as well. We appreciate the whole staff and all that went into this process!

Now on to Ms. Lawrence. Rebecca is INCREDIBLE. She knows her stuff, is quick on her feet, isn’t afraid to object in court, and she really fought for us -- making sure all of our concerns were heard and addressed. She took everything to heart that we told her and gave it her best in court. And she’s a real person, very personable yet professional.

Over these 3 years, we had begun to lose faith in the system and weren’t very optimistic that as the father, my husband would ever be able to gain primary custody of his children. However, yesterday, he was finally able to gain primary physical custody, and we couldn’t be more relieved and thrilled to have the peace of mind that they are in our care now. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Ms. Lawrence and team. We appreciate you endlessly!! 10/10 will always recommend!

Rebecca Lawrence is very unprofessional, has an attitude problem, rather your child be with an abusive parent..Oh and don't be pretty shows (signs of jealousy,) or have an attractive partner.. she will flirt with them.. she doesn't need to practice law.. the most disgusting ignorant disrespectful attorney in Virginia. Do not recommend!
