I had a reckless driving charge for doing only 81 in a 65 in Virginia. Big racket in my opinion but this doesn't have anything to do with this law firm. I had a stack of mail from various attorney's who were soliciting my business, so I had plenty to choose from. I almost gave up after 5 or 6 calls who were either asking outrageous prices, didn't return my calls, or couldn't do it on short notice (I thought my court date was the following week when it was actually the next day). It looked like I was going to make the 2 hour drive that evening, grab a hotel, and go to court with no attorney the next morning, but i decided to make one more call to Clinton Kegley, time was about 4pm. He not only agreed to represent me, his fee was, and this in no exaggeration, 10x less than this one joker I talked to, and about 5x less than a two others. One other attorney's fee I talked with was comparable but he never called me back after we talked. Guess he had to see if he could do it.

The end result was the reckless driving was reduced to Defective Equipment. The person I spoke to at this firm was very nice and helpful;. I received two letters from them. One was a copy of a fax he sent to the court letting them know he's representing me, and the other was the outcome of the hearing clearly explaining to me what I need to do to pay the fine. I'm not sure about other people's experiences, but with me, these people were on the ball and did their job, and at a very fair price. Thank you Clinton Kegley, and the very nice woman I woke to on the phone.

If you get involved in a serious traffic ticket and you need a lawyer for the case, I would highly recommend Galumbeck Kegley as your attorney. I got a reckless driving ticket at 85/70 mph and he effectively helped me out with the case. Also, it is excellent customer service and clear information with the lady assisting me over the phone. Not even worth one star. This law firm seemed friendly and helpful at first. But then, after I provided my credit card number to pay for Mr. Clinton Sherwood Kegley to represent my traffic ticket in court, I suddenly lost all contact with them. The firm did not return my calls, emails, or my requests for Mr. Kegley to call and explain my case outcome. I was also not informed of the short window of time that I had to appeal the outcome of the case (since it was not fought for very well) once I received the outcome in the mail. Now I'm stuck paying his lawyer fee AND the $400 ticket I was wrongfully convicted of (and was able to prove). I'm disappointed that I wasn't even given the time of day by him even once.
