My son was facing very serious charges, all we knew was we had to find the best defense team possible. After researching every firm possible and reading numerous reviews, we decided on Peter Greenspun. All I can say is, thank God we did. Peter and Anastasia were absolutely amazing to work with. As soon as we signed with them, they got started right away. The time and effort they put into my son's case was impressive, they did everything possible, looked at every angle ans worked extremely hard for a positive outcome. They were responsive, were happy to take my calls and meet person anytime we requested. They were also very responsive to emails. As the parent, I felt very comfortable and well informed every step of the way. In the end, we received a very favorable outcome in court we didn't even think was possible. I cannot praise Peter high enough for his actions in the courtroom, he has a strong presence in the courtroom and he is well respected. I also worked very closely with Anastasia day to day who worked on the case very closely. She did an amazing job building our case and putting everything together. Had a pretty bad experience with this law firm. Communication was awful and always felt like I had to reach out to find out what would happen to my case. I would email, wait a week or two and email again to get responses. In the end, the attorney Liza showed up to my court date late (and I was still billed for them using the EZ pass lanes) and I received an awful sentence. There was a guy before me with multiple suspensions and got caught going about 95 with a suspended license and he and I got almost the identical sentence when I have only had one speeding ticket in the past 6-7 years. I felt robbed by Greenspun. Hopefully I won’t get into this situation ever again but I surely wouldn’t use them again or recommend them after my experience.

I am extremely thankful to have had Peter Greenspun represent me during a terrifying and stressful time in my life. With a murder allegation in front of me, no criminal record, and no experience with the legal system, I was in despair. Before Peter, I was working with another “good” lawyer, but it soon became clear to me that Peter is of a different caliber. He came to meet with me while I was in jail on a Sunday evening and I was immediately impressed with his sense of urgency, work ethic, and approach to my circumstance. He was not able to focus attention to my case immediately as he was busy working hard on another client’s trial– nonetheless, he had another attorney from his firm, Anastasia Kranias, come to see me shortly after I made the decision to hire him and she got the ball rolling on my defense right away.

The first order of business was getting bond, which Peter did successfully after my first attorney could not. While this was an uphill battle, Peter did his homework before the bond hearing- although he had a short period of time to review my case, he had already become acquainted enough with it to rebut every single one of the Commonwealth’s opposition points plus more, he had done his research on my personal history, and he was able to cite a decent list of prior relevant cases. Soon after, Peter had to fight through another obstacle as the Commonwealth appealed the judge’s bond decision. Thanks to Peter’s strong response, the court of appeals decided not to revoke my bond. Through 2 continuances and a 2 week trial, I consistently experienced the same from Peter- he worked tirelessly, he was thorough, he was tenacious, he was prepared- thinking of everything from all different angles. I believe he had my best interest in mind as there were many occasions he could have taken short cuts, but did not. There were times when he could have simply acted on my decisions, probably poor ones made from being emotionally and mentally drained or simply being frightened, but he took the time to help me think clearly- somehow this seemed to always happen towards the end of the day when he could have been enjoying dinner with his family or getting some rest, perhaps. Several times I sat in his office and he advised me in the same manner my own father would have advised me -with the addition of many years of experience as a defense attorney. Most importantly, Peter is effective. I was acquitted of all charges and a heavy weight has been lifted from my chest – this would not have been possible without Peter, Anastasia and their support team.
