So so so very frustrated with this place. My grandmother (who is in her 80s and has never used technology and is also on a very restricted income) wanted to mail me her homemade coconut pound cake for Christmas as I have recently moved across the country. This is something she makes me every year (I’m almost 31). She went in on 12/12 and they told her to utilize FedEx as it was the cheapest and fastest. They insinuated it would be to me overnight if she paid $50+ for it. The package is 3.1 pounds. Fast forward to 12/19 and the package is now lost and they refuse to help her. They told her she misunderstood when the package would arrive and are placing blame on her. This is so disheartening and unprofessional. It’s the holiday season and I know they’re busy, but my goodness she just wanted to do something sweet for her only granddaughter. If they were good people they would issue her a refund and an apology for the mixup. I’ll be happy to update this review if they make the situation right.

Have been several times. It's always the same---he seems unfamiliar with some FedEx procedures; always a little confused. Don't let him package or label anything. Do everything yourself so that his only job is handing a package to an actual FedEx driver. Charges extra fees even for prepaid packages.
[Update] Thanks to the business owner for revealing what I did not mention: his terrible attitude. Also, "preparing the package" consisted of taping the package that I had left open until we finished our transaction. Even a surgeon wouldn't charge $5 for that 10 seconds of work. My review IS a tool, designed to help people avoid this store and its charges. This store very much deserves the review I wrote.

This place charged my 83 yr old mother $54 for a 3lb package going to OR. Then FedEx lost her package somewhere in MD. When she went in the staff blamed her because she chose the cheapest option to mail it!! I mean first off I dropped my 3lb package off at the UPS store in the same zip code and it cost me less than $18. They told her that her problem wasn’t with them but with FedEx! Shameful because they should have at least helped her start a case with FedEx or just given her her money back. Do yourself a favor and go to your local Post Office or UPS store. Way cheaper and more professional staff!

Sam is always helpful and very easy to work with... I ship alot of time sensitive packages and have been very happy. If ever there is a delivery issue. He is always very helpful.

I have used Pack and Mail in Lexington, Virginia many times and always received help and information to get the most economical and expedient service. The owner/operator has delivered all shipments as promised so I use it any time I can.

Terrible communication. No desire to help their customer locate their package. Blamed the customer for not paying for the more expensive shipping service. Do the right thing.

Today was a good experience! Walked into the shop and it looked completely different. Very organized and efficient looking. The new owner, Sam, helped me with a fedex shipment. He is polite and friendly. He helped a young man before me in line with his large shipment and then me. I didn't have all the info I needed (was going to look it up on my phone) and he looked it up on his computer screen easy as can be. The new management is great.
