Please ignore the negative reviews here. The time to be involved with planning for parents passing away is well before they do; not after. Donna Wilson or any lawyer can hardly be expected to be a mindreader. Donna has been great for my Mom. All 5 of us kids made sure Mom followed up to complete all paperwork Donna requested. Yes, it takes time to do this right. Donna is very thorough, personable, and volunteers in the community. It really upset me to read the couple whiny comments here about Donna and her staff. We highly recommend Donna. Whether anyone wants to opt for an annual maintenance plan for the cost of a couple hours of legal time per year or just pay as you go is up to each client. It’s fantasy to expect any lawyer to just donate their time because somebody paid for a document years ago. Badgering or publicly libeling them here doesn’t change that reality. Failing to followup and complete your responsibilities doesn’t entitle anyone to a refund. Donna still has to pay her great staff. If you want a competent pro, Donna Wilson and her staff make an excellent choice. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

In September of 2018, my aunt passed away and as executor of her estate, I had the duty to properly ensure the execution of her estate. Realizing the task would involve a great deal of time, effort and knowledge of the process, I sought the expertise of Donna Wilson's Law firm.
From the outset, Donna and her team provided assurances that the process would be as seamless as possible. Well, she and her team fulfilled that promise.
Donna assigned John Accardi to work with me to ensure a satisfactory outcome.
Because I reside in North Carolina, it became necessary for me to occasionally travel to Virginia (Probate Hearing) and John always saw to it that I was not inconvenienced.

If there were less stars to leave for a review I would. Most disappointing experience considering the investment. My parent's recently sought her expertise. Unfortunately, my mother passed shortly after the process was started. My sister and I were trying to understand the state of my parent's affairs and help my father. Complete lack of basic client relationship skills. For the thousands of dollars spent, there was no further support once services were rendered. My family and I scheduled an appointment and went to great lengths to coordinate being in town so that we could all understand next steps. Donna wasn't even in the office. The appointment was only scheduled after we couldn't get answers to basic questions via e-mail and/or phone. Based on the lack of support my father received in relationship to the amount of money paid for basically two wills ($6000) it felt very predatory. I would strongly urge any elderly folks seeking these services to do some research. Disgusted by the entire experience. Donna and her "team" made a difficult situation infinitely worse.
