Wine store has what seems like a large selection. Seems more like a personal preference of the owner type of store with wines from major wine producing countries...think Italy, France, etc. Wish they would have had a VA selection of wines. Not actually sure why there were no VA wines. This is pretty much a touristy town, so I would have thought VA wines would be plentiful in the store as they make great gifts. Maybe next time (hopefully) there will be a larger selection of local wines. I mean if the ABC store has a VA made section, then I feel like it is something that will help benefit your company. Better to support small businesses that support small businesses in my opinion.

The attendant that helped us was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations. He knew the entire background of the grapes and location of multiple bottles of wine we were looking at, as well as some of the backstory of that vineyard. We were able to find a few special bottles for ourselves, as well as some gifts for some very important people in our lives!

This place is amazing! Wine tastings every Friday. They are able to get the owners of the vineyards there from all over the world to this little store! It's classy, the employees are all extremely knowledgeable of the wine variety. She has better pricing than larger shops in Richmond! My wino friends from Richmond are always having us buy wine for them at Specials! Amy, Tom, and Ray always make you feel like family.

What a treat to have such vast selection and knowledgeable owners around the corner. We are spoiled with a larger city level depth of selection and choices as well as GREAT ‘discount’ wines that suit various customer tastes.

This has been a wonderful asset throughout the pandemic not only as the owners take a strong mask policy to keep us all healthy, but they keep us all happy in various wines!

Great wine store. Broad selection and knowledgeable staff. They do nice tastings. They also have cheese and chocolates. Some cheeses are put out for the tastings and the ones I had we're excellent. Definitely worth a stop here.

We enjoyed our brief chat with the gentleman who helped us make our selection (the owner's dad). He was very welcoming and knowledgeable and made us wish we lived closer to visit their Friday night wine tastings! Hubby and I figured we will make the 90 minute trip out one Friday night without the children some day soon.

I've driven and walked past this shop many times, unsure of just what it really was. Then I learned of a tasting there, and with a friend, I decided it was time to know what was going on inside this shop. With a bit of a surprise upon entering, we discovered a lively group of patrons milling about tasting foods and wines.
Wines and educated snack foods filled the shop with some new ways to scale up your entertaining at home. Not only can you buy what you need here, but you'll also learn about wines in the process!
