This office should be ashamed of themselves. I've had 2 child services workers in Missouri tell me on 2 different occasions that the children in the home should be removed and yet Illinois refuses to do anything about it. My 5 year old is allowed to play Grand Theft Auto at his mother's and that's of no concern. They also let him jump off an 8ft step ladder and that's also of no concern. When will Illinois stand up and do right by the children instead of waiting till a child gets hurt. Also don't bother wasting time trying to reach the case workers they never return any phone calls.

Just so the whole world can see that after this office dismissed the allegations against my sons mother this is what happened these pictures were taken 3 weeks apart yet because an adult held the hand of a 5 year old child to go up and jump off the step ladder it was acceptable

First off I would like to admit to my responsibility of failing drug tests at probation & the my officer being required to get dcfs involved. However I was incarcerated for my mistakes. My boyfriend at the time had to cooperate with dcfs in providing negative drug tests so as my daughter could return to home to him. My mother was responsible for taking care of my daughter while he did what he had to do get her home. Well it has been 2 years now that her father has had sole custody of her that I voluntarily gave to him as he said I could parole home & we could work out our issues. Our caseworkers name was Becky, not sits now of last name. I found out recently that while she was the woman over my dcfs case that she would go to my boyfriend's place of work, & accompany him in a camper that he had in the woods to take breaks in, eat, etc & apparently recreational purposes. My ex-boyfriend is a logger & is often in secluded areas. But Becky had no problem going out there by herself to meet up with him. (Not appropriate in my book). She was in charge of the drug testing, how was that possible in the woods with no man around? On several occasions she would go to our place of residence by herself. He was never drug tested. She was separated from her husband with 2 children of her own; while overseeing my case. I had to call the dcfs office from jail to find out why she was not coming to the jail to update me on what was going on. She was to visit me after speaking to my mom & ex-boyfriend but failed to do so. He claimed he had to go to the dcfs office for drug testing so I don't understand why she didn't meet & discuss things there at the office with him! Our residence had already been checked out by dcfs investigator. There was no issue with uncleanliness, it wasn't uninhabitable. I hope whoever reads this picks up What I'm laying down. Women who have a dcfs case, do not trust this woman with you spouse or significant other.

This place is a joke. They believe a child that changes stories over something in black and white. Wish they would close and stop taking kids out if good homes to put them in bad ones
