Lake Cook Reporting hosted two expert depositions for us and did a great job. Greg and Patty were very responsive to my questions, printed outlines and documents, and had breakout rooms and the main room ready to go. It was like taking a deposition in our own office. I would highly recommend them.

As a paralegal for a large law firm, I am often in need of court reporters and audiovisual services. Lake Cook Reporting does a fantastic job in meeting these needs. They are my go-to for whenever I need a court reporter attend a deposition or court hearing, swear in any witnesses, record what is said in real time, and provide a written transcript of the proceedings.
They have helped me out when my firm was desperately seeking a court reporter on short notice, and they have also done a fantastic job for us on long term, complex projects that required project planning in advance.
For example, my law firm once sought to conduct a demonstration on the functioning of automotive components for evidence in a lawsuit. Because it was a massive case, attorneys from all over the country were involved. Due to COVID and the widespread locations of the attorneys, my firm sought to broadcast the demonstration live over the internet. Since the demonstration was taking place in a parking lot, there were numerous logistical challenges, including generating a high-quality internet connection and setting up video and audio recording equipment.
LCR worked hand in hand with me to make sure we were able to put on a fantastic show.
LCR also does a wonderful job in assisting my firm with more routine tasks such as remote depositions over Zoom. They do everything we need: setting up the Zoom room, ensuring all parties have the proper links and are able to participate, and helping everyone with any technology issues they may have.
In addition, the company’s employees and leadership are very nice, intelligent, dedicated, and thorough.
LCR has a perfect mix of the kindness of a small family business and the efficiency and high quality of a sophisticated corporation.

Fantastic service. Solid reporters with good knowledge of medico-legal issues and terms. On time appearances, on time transcripts. Great videography /video deposition services that save my firm the costs of bringing expert witnesses into town, really is a big money saver. Highly recommend.

They arranged a last minute out of state deposition and an out of state notary to administer the oath, and they stated on the call to help with technical issues caused by my computer. They went above and beyond. I’ve been using Veritext and Royal who are good, but I would go back to SP over them.

Great to work with in scheduling and coordinating the deposition, including video recording and video conferencing for an attorney participating remotely. Also, the rides to/from the airport were an unexpected bonus and pleasure!
