Alaris' St. Louis office makes my life as a paralegal so much easier! They have assisted my firm on multiple depositions, both in-person and remotely. They have helped me set up depositions outside of St. Louis. We have used their video services for trial preparation as well. During one trial, we needed a video edited that day and it was taken care of immediately and with no issues! If we do have a problem, it is attended to immediately and without question. Their online portal makes scheduling and cancelling depositions a breeze! My questions are always answered promptly and with a smile! I can't thank them enough for all they have done for myself and our firm! I couldn't imagine going back to any other court reporting or videographer service! I would highly recommend their services to any St. Louis or out-of-town firm looking for help with any of the services they offer!

UPDATE 10/6/2020: One day after posting my review (below), I received a call from Alaris apologizing for not promptly addressing my concerns. We compromised on the disputed charge and I now consider the matter resolved. I have also raised my original star rating from two stars to three stars.

I'm an attorney and I needed to take a deposition for one of my cases. Alaris made it easy to schedule the deposition online and provided a nice facility in which to conduct the deposition. Alaris also provided a very competent and friendly court reporter. The problems arose after I received their invoice on September 27. On the invoice, there was a charge of $292.95 that I had questions about. On September 28, I called Alaris and was transferred to their billing department. The gentleman I spoke with about the charge indicated that he would need to look into it and get back to me. Having not heard back, I called Alaris again on October 1 and was transferred to their billing department. I spoke with a woman who attempted to pull up the details of my invoice, but she indicated that her computer had frozen and that she would call me back once she could review the invoice. Having again not received a call back, I called Alaris for a third time on October 2 and was transferred to their billing department. This time, I spoke with a different woman who attempted to explain the $292.95 charge. I told her I wasn't satisfied with the explanation and she responded that her manager would call me later that day to discuss the charge in greater detail. It's now late in the afternoon on October 5 and, not surprisingly, I haven't received a call from the manager. This type of customer service is extremely disappointing. I guess I'll try a different litigation service the next time I have such a need.

As a paralegal I schedule a ton of depositions and I always choose Alaris, whether I need a court reporter locally, in another state, last minute, video recorded, via Zoom, etc. they come through for me every time. Their rates are extremely reasonable and they don't try to charge ridiculous extra fees like most other companies do. I truly cannot say enough good things about Alaris!

We were a bit surprised by the cost of transcript copies and originally received less than exemplary customer service. Fortunately, we were later contacted by a very helpful customer service representative who addressed our concerns. The customer service department does seem to care about making customers happy. The prices are on the high end.

Attended a volleyball tournament for my 12 year old daughter and parked in a parking lot with a sign that read $20 β€œSt Louis Parking”. Paid what appeared to be a parking lot attendant $20. Turns out, the lot is owned by this P.O.S. and the owner decided to have many cars towed. Left stranded was myself, my wife, my 9 year old son and 12 year old daughter. As well as many other families. Cost each family $380 cash to get our car out of the impound. Luckily, a police officer drove three families to the impound to retrieve the vehicles. The owner should ashamed of themselves and reimburse the families the money lost.
