I don’t know which lawyer I spoke to from this law firm but they were totally and utterly unprofessional. I spoke on the phone regarding a case with a family member. They were put in Winnebago County Jail, in a suicide cell and the guards were withholding water, the cell didn’t have a working toilet, they withhold a mattress and didn’t let the inmate out of the cell for an hour, to shower, or at all, during their 3 days there. The innate allegedly broke a sprinkler in the cell but given the cruel and unusual punishment, I asked the lawyer if, I was to hire him, if he could subpoena the surveillance footage from the suicide cell. The lawyer proceeded to argue with me for several minutes about how they “dont keep cameras inside jail cells” I calmly tried to explain to him that they do in fact keep cameras inside the suicide cells, unlike the normal part of a jail. You would think a criminal defense lawyer and a lawyer that handles lawsuits would have enough sense to know that. I guess that inflated his big ego cause he proceeded to get mad at me and told me that even if they had surveillance footage, that it would be irrelevant to the case which is honestly laughable. Personally, if a lawyer can be that incompetent, unprofessional, and emotional in a short 5 minute phone call, then I certainly would not trust him with a life altering legal case. Regardless of opinions, there is never a reason to get mouthy and disrespectful with someone for no reason like that. Hopefully this will help the next person.

All I'll say is if you want a attorney who does the BARE minimum and charges you an arm and a leg to do it this is your firm. My career was on the line and Chris Solger dropped the ball at trial and gave the worst defense when things mattered most. I highly recommend staying away from this firm. You could definitely tell they lack the experience when it comes to going to trial.

It’s a pleasure to work with Altamore and his associates. Altamore has helped many people. A big thank you to Seth mangold for all he has done to help a friend of mine. First time I met Seth I knew he was a great attorney. For an attorney he made time when it was needed and I’m grateful for Seth. If anybody needs a lawyer I would highly recommend Altamore and associates. They are Very professional and they care for who they represent. So if you need an attorney Altamore and associates is the best in the Rockford area.If there was 10 stars I would give 10 stars but the max is five.

Albert and all of his associates are TOP tier personable and professional except 1. I’ve hired the firm since 2016 up until recently (2023). Recommended them to everybody that i knew were having legal issues up until recently when i hired them for my girlfriends unfortunate case… I had some questions of my own so i attempted to ask altamore’s associate (Seth Mangold) a question regarding the case and i was brushed off because i wasnt currently his client (understandable, time is money) Subsequently, he texted my girlfriend and told her to call to make payments and not have me do it… (who cares who calls and makes payments long as you get ur money) so that was totally unnecessary. THEN he had a meeting with my girl a few weeks after i attempted to obtain legal information from him and expressed to her how he personally felt about the specifications of the case which i found to be 100% unprofessional so i requested we have a talk about that but instead I got banned from the office all together because of the Little ego he has. Just because of him, i wouldnt recommend this place to nobody. Again, Altamore himself is a great attorney so i feel bad for the negative review but i did anyway because of his little helper
