Like a few posts I have read on here I've had the same experience. I filed a claim in 2019 for an IVC filter suit. November of 2023 I received a settlement offer and had 21 days to sign of I agreed to the terms, in which I did. This information came from a law firm that was also working on that settlement. I never heard from anyone at the Flint Cooper Law Firm. The agreement said that payments will began to be dispersed in about 6 months. After 7 months I called and spoke with someone at the firm. She told me to check back around November, which made a year since the agreement. I called then and was told the beginning of next year. Reading the other reviews they have encountered the same thing. This is really sad to hear. I can not get my IVC filter removed, I received the filter when being treated for heart failure which has now progressed. I understand that they may have many clients but it's a nonexistent relationship at all. I really hope they make things right between them and their clients. I am on disability and am I need of a heart transplant. The settlement I have been waiting over 5 years for would be a blessing.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Flint Cooper law firm. Communication has been almost non-existent. Despite multiple calls and emails, I’ve either been ignored or hung up on when seeking clarification about my case. I requested to meet my attorney in person, as I’ve done with every other attorney I’ve hired in the past, but that request was repeatedly disregarded. How can I be expected to trust a firm that refuses to explain things clearly?

What’s worse is that I feel like I’m being retaliated against because I contacted the Illinois Bar Association for advice. Since then, the lack of communication has only worsened, which feels highly unethical and unprofessional. Retaliation against a client for seeking help from the Bar? That’s unacceptable.

There have been far too many red flags throughout my case. I’ve started to believe this firm is more interested in maximizing their fees than actually looking out for my best interests. They’ve even contacted my medical providers without my consent after I made it clear I would handle those bills myself.

If you value open communication, transparency, and ethical behavior from your legal representatives, I strongly advise you to avoid Flint Cooper. My experience has left me feeling devalued and exploited.

Well i have been working with them for since before covid around 2016 2017 and have been like a Mushroom kept in the dark and fed full of manure.I signed off on settlement believe even before October if not way sooner and was told approx October payout then December then January or February and cant call get anyone they wont talk to you on phone but do got a number on Phone was txted from before Christmas from the Paralegal .Was told lien resolution would take til January February so payout would be then i mean they are familiar with the case
.I txted yesterday and now told the settlement for your Mom will be March maybe April because has a medicare lein in which the Goverment comes in takes advantage of the people who got injured or died from a faulty piece of equipment medicare paid to get put in them. I have been constantly ran around in circles told all kinds of times settlement would get sent etc from txt because no one will talk to you i havent even talked to attorney for since the whole thing started.I am tired of the lies the run around and am filing a complaint with The Illinois Barr Association. I am going to end up having to go bankrupt because they keep dragging me along and wont even reply let me know how much Medicare can take of the 21,000.00 that left after Flint cooper took their 26,000.00 so may end up with nothing i have no clue and keep getting told something new when i text the number even called left message was over week heard nothing remember had a txt number so txted it and found out oh we said January February now march maybe april then i am sure when i reach back out in april oh it will be maybe May or June then when call in June will be June maybe July this is how it has been for a long time now.

Well just as i thought no phone call. This is the worst law firm I have ever heard about. Nothing but liers in the whole office. I had a little hope but that's gone now. I honestly hope no-one will give this law firm any thought. They are nothing but dishonest and I believe they will take your money like they did us. Please take me seriously they will not do anything but hurt you.
