Always an issue when going here. They don't accept checks that are 10 days old from the check date, "rules"
I'm not sure how that works when checks are mailed. Maybe they don't have the equity to cover checks
Everyone has an attitude here, including the owner. I will drive 20 minutes just to avoid this establishment and get excellent customer service elsewhere

So disappointed Maria is horrible. The manager Vicky or Nicky is no better. Why on Earth are you even in business? Can't cash a $25 dollar check because it's 10 days old?! Unreal. If the check is mailed and gets delayed that eats up your days by the time I'm ready to cash, it's already 10 days. You all are horrid. And you've been in business way too long to not service the public better.

Won’t deposit checks for people of color, claim they cash checks on case per case bases. Sounds familiar.

VERY unhappy with them.

Transfered car title and registration to my kid. State charges $356 -- they charged $350 in FEES. When I asked about the $700 total I wasn't given until the end ...I was told MULTIPLE times it was fees from the state. (silly me assumed it was state taxes - even tho I only 'sold' the car for $1)

.. There was NO break down of the change provided until I got the receipt AFTER I paid.

I understand the $60 for Power of Attorney and the $55 Credit Card fee .... and I'm ok w/ a $60 fee for the 20 minutes it took to create the forms ,,,but $120 for 20 min work

AND a $60 charge on a $15 state tax and another $60 charge for a $25 state tax is INSANE!

NEVER NEVER NEVER again

BEWARE!!!!!! The staff at this Currency Exchange are shady! The staff woman used her personal cellphone and took a photo of my ID and check!!!! Then she asked if I try to deposit my check using any mobile banking devices prior to coming to the currency exchange and I said, no I did not. Next, she went to a back room and stayed for a while. I started calling her so she could come back with my personal information. When she came back she said you should have not signed it. I stated that when you cash an insurance check orny check for that matter, , you're suppose to sign it. She was acting VERY strange! I decided at that point to deposit the check into my checking account vs. continuing to deal with this crazy and unprofessional service. I hope that she wasn't trying to scam me or do identity theft. The ironic thing about all of this is that I’ve never done mobile banking using a check before so I had to call my bank’s customer service department to guide me through the process. When I explained to the customer service rep about how the lady was taking pictures of my information with her personal cell phone she said yeah you should not do business with them and to leave because it sounds skeptical.

I'm reporting this currency exchange to the BBB and Chamber of Commerce. Once I find out where the corporate office is located, I'm calling them as well.

This currency exchange decides its own prices, rates, fees, and the clearly posted sign is incorrect in the businesses favor.

Somehow, there are always many hidden fees not posted on the wall for check cashing and forigen money transfers.

On top of that, I recently had a horrid experience purchasing tile and plates for a newly purchased vehicle.
In regards to the title and plate purchase I was treated as if any question I had dispite the large sum of money I was spending, was not important enough to even acknowledge, let alone answer/explain. I should have trusted my gut and ran the other way and fast based solely on the employees' demeanor from the moment our interaction began.

Please do better! The people of the community need to not be scammed when attempting to obtain their own funds or legally required items.

I would return my registration and plates in an instant if it was even possible, which I can only assume is not... even though the plates remain unopened still, and the title has not been received or even processed yet. I'm sure the Secretary of State doesn't allow that regardless of circumstances such as dealing with this shady business.

If my questions were actually answered (regarding fees, taxes, general pricing) I would NEVER had made this purchase.

Coustomers being forced to suck up the outrageous new but not posted fees is not any way to keep or gain customers.

Go up
