After working 60-70 hours a week for the same company for 28 years, last year I experienced severe medical problems and became totally disabled. After running out of short term disability benefits, my long term disability company through work declined me for benefits. I went from earning a great salary to zero income. I am a single mother and my son is heading to college this fall. It was the scariest time of my life. They were extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, reassuring, and empathetic. I "hired" them immediately to handle my long term disability appeal for the insurance through my job as well as for my social security claim for disability benefits. They have been on top of everything. I email or call them and hear back within minutes. They are always willing to spend time answering my questions or concerns. They treat me with respect and dignity. In addition, they have experts in each field working on my cases. Everyone I have spoken to has been not only extremely smart and knowledgeable, but patient and compassionate. When I call or email and ask for something, it is done immediately. I can't say how thankful I am for Mr. Burke and Monica at this firm. I was denied my Long Term Disability August 2017. I started my appeal with a different local law firm who sat on it and did nothing for months. I was referred to Mr. Harvey and retained him to help me with my case. Because I had wasted so much time with the other local firm and a fast approaching deadline to get my appeal in he and Monica worked overtime to get my appeal in. I am happy to say and blessed for them and their great work my denial for my LTD was overturned. If you are looking for the best at what they do call them first.
