Nicole Barillaro handled my father’s estate. She was excellent! It was a difficult time and Nicole helped make it easier. She was on top of everything and was so patient and understanding. I was clueless about how it all worked. But Nicole explained everything.
I recommend Gambardella & Barillaro highly!!

I have completed multiple real estate transactions this year with Keith Hathaway and his team- Lori, Tim, and Maureen included. Each one of them has been communicative with myself and my clients from before they've even pinpointed exactly what their real estate goals are to after we've left the closing table. This is the definition of a committed and hardworking team with an eye for detail and no time for nonsense. I would very much recommend their team and plan to continue to utilize them in the future!

Keith and his team went above and beyond to help us close for our mortgage on time! Everyone on his team was very responsive to questions and even responded well after normal working hours. I am very grateful we utilized Keith for our recent real estate transaction and would recommend him and his team to family and friends for sure. Can happily say I have a new go-to real estate attorney in CT!

In 17 years in real estate and over 20 in civil litigation, I have NEVER dealt with a more problematic, incompetent and ego driven lawyer who cares more about his ego than his clients anywhere in Connecticut than Keith Hathaway! How this guy became partner is staggering! He refuses to file extensions of time on time or at all! He refuses to let the seller side know if there are repairs requested by the appraiser on the appraisal and even stated, in writing that any repairs on the appraisal are "irrelevant "!!!! ANYONE in real estate knows you cannot get a conditional mortgage commitment letter without repairs being completed on the appraisal! He refuses to send the mortgage commitment letter with or without conditions on it - even 3 weeks AFTER its due! He refuses to give a closing date! He actually put his own clients in jeopardy of losing their $10,000 deposit by breaching their own contract and he would actually rather have his own clients not get the property they want than to have to answer to anybody like me who is holding him accountable! This poor couple from MA who just wants to buy a nice condo near the lake! What I listed here is just the tip of the iceberg! The rest of this firm is fine. I never had an issue with any of them. BUT KEITH HATHAWAY THEE WORST LAWYER IN CONNECTICUT!

Our closing attorney was Keith Hathaway, and the paralegal working our purchase was Tim Enright. Both were incredible, but especially Tim. I can be a handful. I know this. I am stubborn and bullish, and when I set my sights on something, I want it done yesterday. This team kept up with me from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely seemed to appreciate how difficult it can be to purchase a house. We had a lot of hiccups from the sellers side of things, and Tim handled them as quickly as possible. Both Tim and Keith took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which I’m sure can be annoying, but they were always happy to share from their wealth of knowledge. When we were ready to close, I pushed really hard for it to happen in a couple of days [see note re: being stubborn and bullish above], and so we had another person there for our closing, Maureen. She was friendly and personable and also answered my hundreds of questions. I didn’t get the chance to thank Tim and Keith in person, but I’m very glad we got to work with them. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Ian wagemaker is responsible for representing Note Equities and yet failed to collect the necessary documents and validate his client's words. I was served a notice to quit for "non payment" even tho there is an electronic track record of rent payments. He also signed off on it stating "ive never had the right or privilege to live here" yet the landlord has a copy of the signed lease. His lack of attention to detail and validating his clients word makes his signature useless and silly. I'd expect far my professionalism from a law attorney. They are quick to sign off on their clients disputes without actually gathering the evidence to represent himself correctly. Silly pencil pushers
