I was very lonely after my husband died, but then I found the East Hampton Senior Center. There are many different types of activities - from corn hole to going to see a play, dominos, cards, crafts, book club, lunches and even a writing group. Everyone there is nice in a "I'm among friends" way. When I'm there, I'm not an old lady, I'm just one of the folks.
